My professional experience as a project engineer is wide ranging. Project types include marine and waterfront structures, large custom homes, schools, industrial manufacturing structures, pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, temporary excavation shoring, deep and shallow foundations, and sculptures. I have project delivery experience with the design-bid-build philosophy and with Integrated Project Delivery. IPD experience is from working with KL&A's in house steel detailing and fabrication, construction managers, and other architects and design professionals in delivering projects at an accelerated rate and improved reliability. Specialties: Structural design using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry. Other specialties include the connection design of large architectural stone elements and the use of stone as a structural component. Intergrated project delivery and Building information modeling.
