I am data scientist/Engineer, with a software engineering background, have been working on various aspect of data science: information retrieval, data mining, and machine learning algorithms. I have worked various project on mining patterns within large sets of semi-structured and unstructured data. Also, I have an ability to handle real time and batch data using big data technologies such as Hadoop, MapR and Spark. Worked on various data analytical engines, including real-time social media and batch processing of web forums. Always enthusiasm for technology.
Data Scientist/ Software Engineer @ DropThought is a startup which worked on feedback analytic for a small business, an enterprise, and an education.
As a Data scientist/Engineer at DropThought, my work involves in machine learning and data engineering. Currently, I am working on categorize and to find out the sentiments of feedbacks using machine learning algorithm. We use NLP techniques for pre-processing and feature extraction. Also, working on scaling a system by implementing a lambda architecture using big data technologies: Spark, Kafka, and Cassandra. From May 2015 to Present (8 months) Graduate Research Assistant @ I have been involved in many projects at the Kno.e.sis Center and received many opportunities to work on various big data analytical platforms which involves many big data technologies such as Apache Storm, MongoDB, Apache Hadoop, and IBM BigInsights: SystemT and AQL.
Twitris: It is a Semantic Web application facilitates understanding of social perceptions by Semantics-based processing of massive amounts of event-centric data on social media. I worked on the development of an analytical pipeline engine. which includes collecting of streaming data (i.e., tweets) and performing analysis on real-time. Also, worked various other module such as: social network interaction graph of a Twitter's users, Indian election analysis, etc.
PREDOSE (PREscription Drug abuse Online Surveillance and Epidemiology): To determine spatio-temporal-themaitc patterns and trends in pharmaceutical opioid abuse as discussed on Web-based forums. I have worked on triple extraction from web forum data (unstructured text) using declarative information extraction framework SystemT and it's implementation language AQL (Annotation Query Language)
Obvio: Please see the project section From January 2013 to April 2015 (2 years 4 months) Dayton, Ohio AreaResearch Intern @ Worked as a Research Intern on designing and developing Finite Element (FE) simulation application (Sifem) project, which aims to improve reproducibility and automation of FE simulations which involves semantic web technologies (Ontology, RDF) for knowledge representation and Java Server Faces (JSF).

From December 2013 to May 2014 (6 months) Software Engineer (Staff Consultant) @ I have worked on Internet banking application which is based on Oracle Service-oriented architecture (SOA) suite. During this time, I worked as a Java Web service and Application development dramework (portal) developer. From April 2012 to December 2012 (9 months) Mumbai Area, IndiaSoftware Engineer @ Worked as a Java and J2EE developer. Specifically contributed in designing, and developing various Web and SOA-based applications for an Insurance sector.

I have worked on a Webmethod SOA suit. During this time, I have worked on both middle and application layers. In a middle layer, my works involve development, design and deployment of web services on development, staging and production environments. Also, working as a portal developer (Webmethod).
I have an experience for working on various Web development projects based on Java and J2EE which include technologies like Struts, Hibernate, JSP, Servlet, Spring, etc.
Also, received on-site opportunity to work in Sydney, Australia (Feb 2011 - June 2011): During this time worked directly with clients and offshore teams on developing a batch cancellation module (web service) between a Bank and an Insurance Company. From September 2008 to April 2012 (3 years 8 months) Mumbai Area, India
