Susse [pronounced sus-sa] - is a designer, maker, artist and creator engaged in challenging social and educational systems through experiences and interaction with technology.
She holds a B.ENG in Integrated Design from University of Southern Denmark and graduated with honors from the MFA Design and Technology Program at Parsons The New School For Design.
Most of her work focuses on design intersecting with technology; She is fueled by open source, big data, building digital products and pushing the boundaries between learning, adapting and making.
Interaction Designer @ As part of the experienced design team at Accenture Interactive worked
on various client facing projects, in articulate and synthesizing research,
as a mean to define a problem and clarify a solution as well as generate
ideas around concept, interaction and experience.
Creating visual and digital prototypes to illustrate user flow, wireframes and
interaction with the user in order to conducted user testing of a number of digital prototypes. From July 2014 to Present (1 year 6 months) Greater New York City AreaUX Designer Open Badges @ As part of the Open Badges team at Mozilla worked on pathways, style guides and
prototypes for the Open Badges site and products related to sharing, communicating
and using open badges.
Hosted workshop centered around the future of digital skills
sharing and learning paths, at Mozilla Festival in London as part of
the résumé 2.0 project, this lead to new research and prototypes. From September 2013 to December 2013 (4 months) UX Design Intern Open Badges @ Worked closely with the Open Badges team at Mozilla on résumé 2.0, a
project focused on researching and prototyping while also challenging
how skills, experiences and personality is showcased for seeking out
new employment and learning opportunities using Open Badges. From July 2013 to August 2013 (2 months) Greater New York City AreaGraduate Admissions @ Collaborated closely with the Admissions Office at The New School on
designing and developing brochures, web invitations and material for
incoming graduate students. Assisted on portfolio and educational
advising for graduate students. From September 2012 to July 2013 (11 months) Greater New York City AreaTV Design & Concept Development @ Worked on a TV design and concept as part of Bang & Olufsen's
new sub-brand B&O Play. By focusing on strategic advantages in sound,
as well as design and technical durability, a new TV was developed.
The technical challenge in combining a flat screen with exceptional sound
quality was used to improve and target the design to a realistic TV concept. From August 2011 to January 2012 (6 months) Design Intern @ Worked on design projects for the Lenovo, LG electronics and Aquabots
as part of a team of industrial designers and design researchers. I
presented ideas and concepts to clients was a big part of the work
areas at ECCO id, as was organize and managing development projects
within the team. From February 2011 to July 2011 (6 months) Design Developer @ Worked closely with a team of designers, to develop a solution for a safe and comfortable environment for Norwells outdoor exercise tools.
This project resulted in the development of an outdoor lamp run on solar cells and kinetic power from the exercise tools. From February 2010 to June 2010 (5 months) Odense Area, Denmark
