Played a key role in the sale of DRS Technologies to Finmeccanica in 2008, viewed as one of the most lucrative M&A transactions in recent industry history. Recent experience in turning around, divesting, and subsequently leading a large ($4B) service organization that is private equity backed and privately held, DynCorp International. Granted Top Secret Clearance by the U.S. government. Presently serving on two boards as well as the National Defense University foundation board.

Board Member @ The National Defense University Foundation (NDUF), established in 1982 as a non-profit organization, provides private sector support for the National Defense University in mission-oriented areas otherwise not funded by government appropriations. The University, by federal law, can not solicit or hold private funds and depends on the Foundation for additional financial resources and program support worthy of any great educational institution. From May 2013 to Present (2 years 8 months) President @ Served as President of this $4B government Aviation, Logistics and Training company supporting U.S. Department of Defense and State Department Foreign Policy objectives while operating in 28 countries with over 28,000 employees world wide. Led the complete turn around of the aviation and ground vehicle sector of this business as well as renegotiated the largest contract in DynCorp history (LOGCAP) to improve profitability by approximately 90percent. Played a key role in the sale and transition of DynCorp to Cerberus Capital in 2010. Led the growth of DynCorp from approximately $3.0B to over $4.1B. From March 2009 to November 2013 (4 years 9 months) President DRS Technologies C4I @ Created the vision, organization and strategy for this $1..4B business at DRS Technologies. Grew revenues by over 500 percent while increasing EBIT by over 800 percent. Built market strategies and business verticals in Army C4I, Navy power and electric drive, boarder surveillance, signals intelligence, and communications. From March 2003 to November 2008 (5 years 9 months) President @ Served as the president of L-3 Ocean Systems which provided undersea surveillance, countermeasures, and mine warfare solutions to the U.S. and foreign navies world wide. Led the sale, transition and integration of this company from AlliedSignal to L-3 Communications. This was the first acquisition by L-3 during the formative years of the corporation. Led the acquisition of two companies to broaden the companies' product portfolio and customer network.
