💼 Past Experience

In 2007, Steven Heintz co-founded and led the hardware engineering team at Adobe when they created the Flash Catalyst product. In 2018, he was recruited by Facebook to be the director of engineering for their Augmented Reality team. He is responsible for product management for all aspects of Facebook’s experience with Augmented Reality, from product development to overseas mass production.

Heintz worked as a software engineer at Microsoft from 1997-1997, before moving on to work at Logitech where he led the hardware design engineering team. He then worked at Adobe where he created and launched new products in the fields of wearable devices and digital living rooms. He also worked on the development of the Wind River Workbench product group, and later led the product management team for Facebook's Reality Laboratory.
