I started my career at The Hollywood Reporter in 1994 as a Managing Director. I was responsible for the East Coast office and managed the office from 1994-1997. I also worked at Global Licensing Advisors from January 2018 to September 2020 as a Brand Director. I am also the founder and Group Publisher at License! Global.I have over 23 years of experience in the licensing industry and have worked with a wide range of clients, from small businesses to global companies. I have a deep understanding of the industry and have been able to provide valuable insights and direction to my clients. I am also an expert when it comes to consumer products and experiential brands.

Steven Ekstract started his undergraduate career at American University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies in 2003. After School and even before graduating, Ekstract moved on to Northwestern University to take a Post Graduate degree in Media Management in 2003.Ekstract's experiences in different fields have given him a strong understanding of how communication works and how it affects our world. This has helped him as an individual to better understand the role that communication can have in different realms, both personal and professional.
