Stephen Wretling currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for DaVita Healthcare Partners. His global accountability for DaVita Healthcare Partners includes Enterprise Architecture, IT Architecture, Technology Roadmaps, IT Innovation and incubation of new IT capabilities such as the Mobile 'Community'​ of Excellence. As a seasoned Health IT executive, Stephen has a proven track record of strategic planning and the program delivery of numerous large-scale enterprise systems using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) , Agile software development and technology innovation. He has built a strong partnership with his business executives, connecting the divide between desires and needs with technology solutions that transform the delivery of care. In 2010, Stephen was recognized by being awarded the Kaiser Permanente IT Summit award for his leadership in establishing a Service Oriented Architecture. He held a seat on the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO) Technical Advisory Panel early in its formation, helping to direct the state's approach on Health Information Exchange.
