Played a prominent role in generating materials for the launch of the Porsche Panamera in Shanghai, the 50 Years of Porsche celebrations as well preparing all speeches and communications for the China CEO. Client-facing and broad in scope, the role encompassed all aspects of marketing mix from concept to execution in collaboration with a talented ICLP team. From March 2008 to November 2009 (1 year 9 months) Shanghai City, ChinaOwner/ Freelance Marketing Consultant & Copywriter @ Having built a strong reputation in Shanghai as one of the leading Freelance Copywriters and Marketing Consultants, I co-founded Relate to formalize something that was missing in the China market - namely a locally-based world-class English copywriting service for companies who placed quality at the forefront. Working with agencies such ICLP, Eastwei Relations, Weber Shandwick, notable clients included Porsche, Virgin Atlantic, Wyndham Hotels alongside an extensive list of locally based businesses. Some highlights included media assignments at the Shanghai Formula One Circuit and Porsche 60 Year Celebrations, as well as articles on leading figures in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the Hurun Report 2009. I have since stopped working directly on Relate and closed the company, due to expanded scope of responsibility with LELO. In my time there, I was responsible for writing and supervising the launch of 5 English language books to be published nationally across China. Involved in final editing and lay-out design on countless more publications, the experience re-emphasized the importance of details - to balance the need to make everything "perfect" against tight deadlines that ensure a product's success.
