From November 2011 to Present (4 years 2 months) Romford, United KingdomProcurement Manager @ Responsible for the creation, development and management of the Procurement and Supply Chain function within the Lakehouse business. Working with other departments and key stakeholders, I have written and implemented the purchasing policies, procedures and procurement strategy for the business. This included setting up and managing a centralised procurement team, who are responsible for category management, transactional and strategic ordering of materials and services, working closely with operational teams to ensure available savings and best value are achieved. I am also responsible for supply chain management within the business. Working with our business support team and other stakeholders, we have created a suite of vendor assessment and management tools which are linked directly into our Microsoft Dynamics back office system. These include an assessment and management system which is connected to Constructionline and a KPI tool to measure and report on the performance of our supply chain. Data provided via these tools, is then used to drive continuous improvement within our business and our supply chain.
