Steve Jacobs's journey to CTO and finally CEO and Founder at Bright Parenting started with experience as a VP Technology at Sonata from 1999-2001. Here, Steve worked with customers and engineers to develop new business and product architecture, developing products such as the Whiteboard, Blackboard, and Presentation software. In 2006, Steve joined the team at Hudson's Bay Company as a SVP Digital Technology and Product, responsible for all aspects of the company's website and digital product offering. In his role, Steve led a team of engineers that designed and built a large-scale high-performance computing infrastructure for the company. He also developed and launched a number of new products and initiatives, including the Bright Parenting Rewards Program, which grew the company's customer base by over 20%. Steve leaves Hudson's Bay Company as the Company’s Chief Product Officer and Head of Demand Marketing.Since 2004, Steve has beenVP Technology at Bright Parenting, a company he co-founded with his wife (now MBA of Bright Parenting and an active board member and CEO of the company). As CEO and Founder at Bright Parenting, Steve leads a team of engineers to develop products and services that help parents to connect with their children online. Bright Parenting has millions of active users and boasts an extensive portfolio of clients, including The Huffington Post, ABC, and NBC. They first met when Jacobs was the VP of Infrastructure for Sun Microsystems and Wadhwa was the VP ofMarketing at Intel. From there, they started their business relationship and have been working together ever since.
