Guided an eight plant organization located in Kalamazoo, MI, Buffalo NY, and Inagi, Japan.• Developed organization from inception, establishing a strong leadership team, clear expectations, a culture of continuous improvement and a solid strategic direction.• Initiated and drove three strategic programs to rationalize manufacturing footprint and eliminated redundant or non-value-added activities resulting in significant cost reduction and increased capabilities. From 2011 to 2012 (1 year) Vice President of Global Operations @ Stryker Led a 1000 person divisional operations organization supporting global sales of $600M with facilities in Quebec, Canada, Buffalo, NY, Guayama, Puerto Rico and Kalamazoo, MI.• Rationalized the manufacturing footprint by divested a facility to a global leader in contract manufacturing and supported the relocation of manufacturing, resulting in a multi-million dollar cost reduction while developing a strategic global supply chain partner.• Established an advanced operations organization and strategic sourcing model that significantly improved new product introduction and supplier management. Reduced supply base from over 750 suppliers to less than 150, increasing supplier cost, quality and delivery.• Supported the investigation, due diligence, acquisition and seamless integration of the $150M acquisition of Gaymar Industries.• Developed a team of leaders that have advanced to positions of significant responsibility across the corporation.
