Seasoned Life Science executive with more than 20 years experience as a serial entrepreneur, CEO, Chairman and business developer. Stein has founded more than 20 successful companies in the last 20 years. He is currently involved in several start-up businesses and is also building a Nordic distribution enterprise, VeriVita Group, focused on medical products for the treatment and management of chronic diseases such as sleep and respiratory disorders, cardiac failure, diabetes, COPD, asthma and hypertension. Stein Jacobsen is a highly experienced international business leader. He served as President of ResMed Europe from January 2009 until April 2012, running the commercial operations for Europe, before resigning to return to entrepreneurial endeavors. Prior to that position, he was Senior Vice President of the Ventilation business unit (2007-2009), with global responsibility for diagnostic and therapeutic devices for respiratory disorders. He joined ResMed in 2005, becoming Chief Operating Officer - Nordics, after ResMed´s acquisition of PolarMed Holding AS, a leading medical equipment distributor in Scandinavian Home Care market that Stein founded in 1993. Stein is currently an active angel investor involved in several start-up businesses and sits on the boards of several companies in the life science industry, including VeriVita Group, AkuMed Group, Boka Doktorn Group, Padtech AS, MecSense AS and Otivio AS.
