While in college, Stacy studied at American University of Paris, where she received her Architecture History degree. After her first year at American University of Paris, Stacy transferred to Clackamas High School to continue her music education. Stacy earned her B.A. in Architecture Architecture, Music at University of Washington in January 1998. During her undergraduate career, Stacy worked as an assistant professor at American University of Paris and as an associate professor at University of Washington. In her teaching career, Stacy has utilized her architectural training and experiences to help provide students with an understanding of the architectural industry. Additionally, Stacy has taught a variety of design and construction seminars for architecture students and professionals. Stacy's teaching style has been interactive, consisting of small groups rotating through drills and exercises to get hands-on experience with Construction. Stacy's passion for teaching and her enjoyment of teaching have led her to be highly successful as an educator. Employment-wise, Stacy has been an associate professor at American University of Paris and as an adjunct professor at University of Washington since spring of 2008. Stacy is currently the content archivist at the Seattle Architecture Museum. In her spare time, Stacy enjoys cooking and playing the violin.
