Sophie Liljedahl, Ph. D., C. Psych, completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Ottawa (Ontario, Canada). She completed her residency and post-doctoral fellowship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) / University of Toronto. Sophie is a licensed clinical psychologist in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She relocated to Sweden in 2012. In Sweden Sophie works as the Head of Research, Treatment, and Program Development at a residential treatment facility in Skåne (Finjagården). She collaborated with the Southern node of the National Self-Harm Project on a number of local and national initiatives from 2012-2014. Beginning in 2015 she joined the Unit for Clinical Suicide Research (Psykiatri Skåne) in an international research collaboration to support development and implementation of a crisis management model, evaluated through randomized controlled trial (RCT). Sophie teaches in the Department of Psychology at Lund University in the free-standing courses, the Psychologists’ Program, and the CBT branch of the Psychotherapists’ Program.
