I joined the radio station as a freshman at CWRU, and I've been there as a volunteer ever since. I joined the company as employee #8 in 1998 and watched the company grow and mature into the leading interactive agency in Northeast Ohio. I came aboard as a developer, to push DigiKnow further into the growing Web development arena, and worked on a broad range of sites - from small, informational web sites to full e-commerce site to high-profile, high-traffic entertainment sites. From March 1998 to October 2007 (9 years 8 months) Manager, UNIX Development @ From 1998 to 2007 (9 years) Webmaster & Systems/Network Administrator @ Founded in 1992, APK Net was the first public Internet Service Provider in the Northern Ohio region and one of the first ISPs in the United States to offer commercial Web Site hosting. It started as a humble BBS, offering Email and Usenet News and grew to a large scale provider. I started at APK just as it moved out of the basement of the founder's house and into it's corporate offices in downtown Cleveland. Since it was so small at the time, the few employees had to juggle many different tasks, from providing technical support on the phone, installing new hardware, maintaining the servers and systems, set up web sites and host of other jobs.
