Since starting with SitePoint, I've built a high performing team focused on delivering fast and high quality. From September 2014 to Present (1 year 4 months) General Manager @ Reactive are an award-winning digital agency with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, London, New York and Auckland. Founded in 1997 and with over 170 amazing people in the team (over 100 in Melbourne!), Reactive is one of Australia’s largest and longest running independent digital agencies. As General Manager I was heavily involved in partnering with clients at an Executive management level, I led the Melbourne group and worked across HR, Business strategy, Finance, Creative and Technology to grow and strengthen the team and the Brand. During my five years with Reactive, the Melbourne office grew from 27 people to over 100, moving from an SME-focused business to Enterprise clients such as Coles, Flybuys, BHP Billiton, Nissan, ANZ Bank and others and building strong partnerships with Sitecore, Adobe and other partners in the process. As part of the Global management team I assisted in setting strategy for the growth of the global business. I also added and strengthened service lines such as Performance and content marketing, strategy and technology services and supported the growth of other Reactive offices through project, technology, resource and management support. Ultimately this all ensured that Reactive was a strong target for acquisition, with Accenture Digital acquiring the company in late 2014.
