Director and Owner @ Trac Systems, the new name for NursingNet, provides a number of different services to the health sector.
Our recruitment management system, which operates under the brand name "TRAC Systems" provides and end to end recruitment system for NHS organisations. Designed to work with DH provided national systems TRAC speeds up recruitment, reduces costs and makes the whole process safer by tracking and recording actions taken and encouraging users to follow best practise at all times.
In addition to providing our bespoke recruitment system we also provide an increasingly popular outsourcing service.

Examples include www.chestefieldroyal.nhs.uk and www.bcf.nhs.uk From June 2000 to Present (15 years 7 months) Director and Trustee @ I was responsible to establising Volunteer Africa in around 2001, primarly to work with HAPA-Singida a Tanzanian NGO that grew out on of the local offices of Health Projects Abroad.
VolunteerAfrica is an international 'not for profit' organisation that is run by a team of volunteers spread around the world. Volunteer Africa has been established to give people the opportunity to work on community initiated projects in developing countries. In return for hosting these international volunteers the host organisation receives donations from the volunteers. From April 2001 to Present (14 years 9 months) Councillor / Chair @ Parish Councillor from May 2007, Chair of Parish Council from December 2010. From May 2007 to September 2013 (6 years 5 months) Director @ Founded and ran the organisation that became a registered charity in 1991. After a pilot project in Cameroon in 1990 the organisation started operating in the Tabora Region of Tanzania in May 1991. Over a 10 year period, initially just in Tabora but later also in Singida Region, the organisation supported the work of communities and local government on the construction of health centres and schools, health education and capacity building. During my time with the charity over 700 volunteers from the UK & Ireland spent 3 months working on projects in Tanzania. HPA was primarily funded by its volunteers, DfID, the EU and the UK National Lottery. The volunteer programme was awarded a National Training Award for the quality of the preparation and support that volunteers received. From June 1989 to January 2000 (10 years 8 months) Staff Recruitment Manager @ Recruiting and selecting the best possible staff for up to 10 expeditions per year. Also took parts in expeditions in Borneo in 1987 and Cameroon in 1988/9. From July 1985 to April 1989 (3 years 10 months) London, United KingdomVolunteer @ From April 1985 to June 1985 (3 months) Staff Nurse @ Staff Nurse on Brook Ward at New Cross Hospital. This was part of the Care of the Elderly Unit for Guy's Hospital, long before it was reunited with St Thomas' or became a Foundation Trust. It was a good ward, with a dynamic Ward Sister, that provided a high standard of care to its patients. From September 1984 to March 1985 (7 months)
