💼 Past Experience

Cricket Training and Development Officer - Sussex County Cricket ClubI started my cricket coaching career as a training and development officer with Sussex County Cricket Club in November 2008. I direct and implement cricket training and development programmes for the club's players and staff. I also work with the club's team management and contribute to strategic planning for the Cricket Club. My duty includes setting up and running on-court training sessions, providing coaching and leadership development programmes and organising cricket matches.Prior to joining Sussex County Cricket Club, I worked as the Community Coach with Sussex County Cricket Club from May 2006 to November 2008. I coached players from all ages and development levels, and helped to increase the club's attendance and playtime. I also taught cricket at Sussex County Cricket Club's academies.I also have a background in financial planning and have worked in this field for some time, currently as a specialist cricket coach at Pevensey & Westham School. I have also been working as an independent financial advisor for some time.I have played cricket for over 20 years, and have coached and played for several clubs. I am currently a Cricket Coach and Development Officer at Cricket Namibia and a Community Coach with Sussex County Cricket Club. I also have experience as a Director of Sport at Brighton Aldridge Community Academy and Portslade Aldridge Community Academy.

He has also a degree in English Literature.Before he Started his work career, Simon Funnell worked as a research librarian. This gave him a wealth of knowledge in the reading, research, and data management fields.Simon Funnell has held a number of roles in the library community, including manager, curator, and coordinator. This has given him a good understanding of the different areas of the library sector.Since his move to London, Simon Funnell has worked as a procurator. This role allows him to investigate library complaints and handle any legal issues that may arise. He has also been a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Library Research.Simon Funnell is passionate about his work and takes great pride in his contributions to the library community.
