IM&IT is the prime interface to the business to ensure IT services / investments meet expectations and drive business value. The main purpose of an business analyst – Exploration UI is to support the overall objective of the IM&IT organization in increasing business value through the right IT investments, by ensuring Upstream IT strategies, roadmaps and programmes are business focussed and fit for purpose. From July 2013 to June 2014 (1 year) The Hague Area, NetherlandsManagement Trainee @ In the two year Multicompany Program I will develop myself as manager with leadership skills. During an intensive development program I will be assigned different projects at diverse organisations within the participant network of ORMIT. Besides the projects I will receive training, coaching and group intervision. In these two years I will develop my professional competences and accomplish personal leadership.
ORMIT is the Management Development specialist and well known for its MD approach and vision on leadership. This approach and vision is the foundation for a management traineeship, in which young professionals will be developed into successful managers. ORMIT also advises and facilitates Management Development in organisations. From November 2011 to June 2014 (2 years 8 months) Project Manager @ As a Project Manager, I work on ASML’s New Product Logistics department (NPL). This department is responsible to ensure material availability of (complex) parts for manufacturing and servicing newly introduced lithography machines and proto types.
I was assigned to improve and implement an End-of-Life process, which ensures solutions on material availability problems caused by manufacturers that are no longer able to provide. This optimized process affects many departments like; Procurement, Logistics and Engineering. From August 2012 to July 2013 (1 year) Project Manager @ As a project manager, I worked on the Vehicle Admission and Surveillance department (TTV). This department reports directly to the Ministry of Infrastructure & Environment and is among other things responsible for type approvals of vehicles and Technical parts/units.
I was assigned to device and implement a cost-effective tariff structure based on hourly rates. I had responsibility to deliver the following;
- Recreation of the services catalog by reducing the number of services from 1200 to 150 items
- Determine standard times associated with remaining services
- Design and implement a quote generator based on standard times
- Have the new tariff structure supported in existing ICT systems (RBD, SAP)
- Communication plan to inform RDW’s clients (manufacturers), External Technical Services and private customers
- Partly responsible for correspondence with the Minister of Infrastructure & Environment, and obtain approval on new tariff structure to be taken up in National (Dutch) legislation From February 2012 to August 2012 (7 months) Graduate intern @ I conducted a master thesis with BP's Exploration and Production Technology department (EPT), in Sunbury, UK. The thesis was named: Multi-Objective Optimization of Steel Lazy Wave Riser designs through Genetic Algorithms. From October 2010 to April 2011 (7 months)
