I have more than two decades of experience leading teams and shaping corporate narratives for some of the world’s most innovative and disruptive companies, including Yahoo!, eBay and LinkedIn. I joined LinkedIn in 2010 as its Vice President of Corporate Communications, and in 2015, I expanded my purview to oversee all marketing activities at the company as CMO. Having risen through the communications ranks from PR Associate to Senior Vice President, I have been credited with many corporate and consumer public relations successes during that time. My diverse experience has enabled me to manage all aspects of a company's public profile—from developing crisis plans and roadshow decks to building global teams and producing high-impact consumer events. I was also responsible for the communications strategies for the high-profile IPOs of both OpenTable (2009) and LinkedIn (2011). As the communications leader of LinkedIn, my purview included global external communications, internal communications, media relations, social impact, social media and community relations, all deftly handled by a team of 50+ professionals around the world. In addition to spending 19 years in Silicon Valley, I lived and worked outside the U.S. for two years in Zurich, Switzerland, further honing my skills as a global executive. I am also an Advisory Board Member at Nextdoor.com, Sidewire, NerdWallet, and AirGrub and also regularly mentor communications and marketing professionals across the country.
