With more than 15 years in investment banking, mostly as Managing Director in corporate finance, I developed extensive skills in all topics related to corporate finance, including M&A, restructuring, financing, equity capital markets, portfolio review and management, financial risks assessment, valuation, business plans preparation and review, communication with shareholders and investors. With a special focus on the TMT and aerospace-defense sectors, as well as on privatizations, I had the opportunity to deal with other sectors like energy, healthcare, financial institutions, infrastructures (airports).
Currently as CFO of a large corporate (namely Derichebourg, a 2.6bn€ revenue company operating in recycling and environmental services) I have been able to bring already major positive changes : completion of the group's refinancing through a 250m€ debt package; redifinition of hedging policy and instruments for forex, interest rates and metal prices; enhanced financial communication bringing better analyst coverage and investor perception; improvement in working capital leading to substantial debt reduction; launching of new internal functions such as internal audit.

Established in 10 countries, with 25,000 employees, the 2.6bn€ revenu group is listed on Euronext. As group CFO, I am notably in charge of cash management, debt financing, relation with investors and markets, forecasts and budgets, cost accounting. From July 2013 to Present (2 years 6 months) Paris Area, FranceManaging Director, M&A @ Initially as global head of Telecoms, Media & Technology, I developed the TMT franchise accross Europe, through the coverage of more than 70 clients, managed 10 professionals, including other Managing Directors.
Appointed Senior Advisor in July 2010, I am in charge of several major clients and situations accross several sectors and geographies.
Deals completed include the divestment of Abertis's stake in Eutelsat, the acquisition of 44% of SFR by Vivendi, the sale of ECS to Econocom, the sale of Vivendi's stake in NBC Universal, the merger between Banques Populaires and Caisses d'Epargne. From September 2007 to December 2012 (5 years 4 months) Co-head of Corporate Finance @ With global marketing responsibilities, and management of a team of 25 professionals, I developed the M&A activity focusing in particular on larger transactions. I also set up major partnerships with other investment banks, including Metzler Bank in Germany, Peter J. Solomon in the USA and Handelsbanken in Scandinavia, to provide our clients with a global coverage. From October 2005 to August 2007 (1 year 11 months) Head of TMT @ Initially hired by Clinvest, Credit Lyonnais' corporate finance subsidiary, I was in charge of setting up and developing the TMT & Aerospace-Defense practice. Following the merger with Credit Agricole, my responsibilities were confirmed and extended within Calyon.
I directly originated and executed several transactions in telecoms (sale of Numericable, merger of SFR and Telecom Developpement, sale of Kaptech to LD Com), in media (sale of UGC and of Vivendi Universal Publishing by Vivendi), in IT (restructuring of Bull, sale of Matra Datavision to IBM, sale of Teamlog to Groupe Open) and in aerospace defense (creation of Aerospatiale Matra then EADS, restructuring of Thales'shareholding structure, merger between DCNS and Thales naval activities). From October 1997 to October 2005 (8 years 1 month) telecoms regulator, then Minister's Office @ I held several positions within the French civil service covering telecommunications topics. Initially as French negotiator of EU directives in this sector, I was deputy to the head of the posts and telecoms regulator, then appointed as adviser to the Minister in charge. I handled in particular the negotiation, the drafting and the adoption of the first telecommunications legislative package (1996) opening the whole sector to competition, creating the independant regulatory body and turning France Telecom into a corporate structure.
