Serdar Ergun:My professional experience includes over five years with wireless telecommunications and operations. I have worked in engineering, operations, production, field engineering, business units, product management, and management roles. I have experience in both the United States and Turkey, where I have been working for various companies.One of my most important skills is being able to work with other departments in a team. 🎓 Education

Serdar Ergun graduated from Emniyet University with a BSEE in Electrical Engineering in 2013. Following his graduation, Serdar worked at the renowned Turkish company Erdoğan Yapıları, where he held several staff positions. In early 2018, he left Erdoğan Yapıları to become a Regional Head of Engineering within the Turkish Ministry of Interior. From this position, he played a vital role in revamping the emergency engineering management and critical infrastructure section within the ministry. He is also an accomplished engineer with a strong knowledge of turbulence and sedimentation issues. Serdar has traveled extensively in the madagascarHeating and Cooling Trades Union Confederation (TUZ) for Local Organizing Meeting (LOM) and has been an up-and-coming member in the past of the Confederation's Standing Committee on Women. Serdar is also an environmentalist and has been working as an organizer with Peoples' Action Forumsince he was a civil servant.Ergun's prior education and experience have lent him a unique perspective in the field of emergency engineering. His years of experience in Erdoğan Yapıları, as well as his travels in the Madagascar Heating and Cooling Trades Union Confederation (TUZ) have given him an understanding of the challenges and issues involved with natural disasters, as well as the importance of effective and sustainable disaster management. With his background in emergency engineering and his experience in organizing Kerem Özeloğlu, among other high-level government appointees, Serdar has put his stamp on the emergency engineering field in Turkey.
