In my life thus far, I have held positions in diverse industries enabling me to contribute to the success of teams in various organizations. I have learned that I possess the following qualities amongst others: strong organization skills and attention to detail; enthusiasm about my work; ability to get along with all personality types; maintaining a calm composure in high stress environments and situations; flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances; imagination and creativity; and excellent research skills. I truly enjoy all aspects of working independently and as part of a team to bring a business or organziation to its best possible potential.
Director of Operations @ Oversees and manages all working parts of the organization’s day-to-day activities, including but not limited to program operations, communications, marketing, HR, and special events. Responsibilities also include working directly with the CEO on the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. From February 2014 to Present (1 year 11 months) Special Events Consultant @ Collaborative role in the development and execution of a wide variety of special events, particularly in regards to the utilization of new technologies. These technologies increase both client and guest satisfaction, as well as increased profit margins and the ability to thoroughly track expenses and revenue through extensive database reports in fundraisers. Recent projects include the Mayor's Inaugural celebration and fundraiser events for the Stamford Museum & Nature Center, The Ferguson Library, and The Mead School. From July 2012 to Present (3 years 6 months) Produce Manager @ Functioned as produce manager/buyer, receiver, and customer relations/sales associate for a medium-sized company in the natural food’s retail industry. From December 2012 to November 2013 (1 year) Production & Sales Ambassador @ Performed executive functions and supportive roles involving production and sale of honey, and beekeeping activities in a unique start-up company. From July 2009 to November 2013 (4 years 5 months) Buyer & Sales Associate @ Functioned as buyer, receiver, customer relations/sales associate, blogger and marketing strategist for a national and industry renowned independent holistic health store.
