💼 Past Experience

In September of 2011, Sean Go joined the team at GoFurther Careers as a Consultant. Here, he spent his time working on product development and assisting with the company's marketing and sales efforts. Sean also worked as a summer analyst at the Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. from April through September of 2011. In February of 2012, Sean Go became a summer analyst at HSBC. Here, he worked on financial analysis and dealt with the company's legal department. Sean also worked as a marketing and fundraising manager for Emory University from January through September of 2012. In August of 2012, Sean Go became a founder and CEO of the company, GoFurther Careers. Here, he assisted with the company's product development, marketing, and sales efforts. Additionally, Sean also served as the CEO's advisor for the company's Shark Tank project. In October of 2012, Sean Go was promoted to the rank of interim CEO. He stayed in that position until July of 2013, when he took over as the CEO. In July of 2013, Sean Go was promoted to the rank of CEO. He remained in that position until September of 2013, when he left the company. Sean Go currently resides in Beijing, China. He holds a graduate degree in Business Communication and Professional Development from Emory University - Goizueta Business School.

Sean Go was born in December of 1994 in the Philippines and raised in Hawaii. He first encountered business at an early age, being educated in the International Baccalaureate diploma program of International School Manila. After completing the IB program, Sean moved on to Brent International School in Manila and then to triple-degree program at University of California, Berkeley, double major in business administration and economics, and bachelors in geography and a summer exchange at Peking University. In his undergraduate years, he also studied at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his undergraduate studies, Sean moved to New York City and started his career working as a financial analyst for theFeatured Bank of America. There, he became intrigued with thejuicy world of business and decided to pursue a business degree rather than stay in the Philippines for more time. While at Featured Bank of America, Sean also took part in the TI:GER Program and the MBA and Masters in Law program at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He has also completed the Certified Master Baker Program at The New School. In conclusion, Sean has had a diverse and rounded education that has prepared him for his current role in the business world.
