I am a construction manager who has over 18 years of experience in the high-end property development market in New York City. I have spent the last three years managing the design, production and installation of exterior curtain wall systems including Jean Nouvel's MoMA Tower in Manhattan for Lend Lease/Hines. Tower One, World Trade Center by SOM and 50 West Street by Helmut Jahn. From August 2014 to Present (1 year 5 months) Greater New York City AreaProject Manager @ World Trade Center Tower One, Podium Curtain Wall Project for Tishman Construction on behalf of SOM/Silverstein/Port Authority. I was the lead project manager of this design-build curtain wall project including the in-house manufacturing, assembly and installation. The scope included curtain wall system design and manufacture of 2,112 panels with an integrated lighting system. From September 2012 to August 2014 (2 years) Project Architect @ Managed a staff of 12 people including 2 designers, 2 project managers and a team of 8 carpenters/job supers while simultaneously generating new business leads and acting as lead project architect. Over a 7 year period we completed over 85 projects in NYC ranging from residential design-build interiors to ground-up townhouse construction. From November 2005 to August 2012 (6 years 10 months) Project Manager @ Design team coordination for a planned condo conversion at 681 5th Avenue with JT Magen (GC) and Ricardo Bofill (architect). Managed the effort to design residential interiors and a complete exterior curtain wall reclad system for this 25-story residential condominium in mid-town Manhattan. Project put on hold in 2008. From March 2007 to December 2007 (10 months) Managing Director @ VP and Strategy Director of a 22-person marketing firm. Responsible for market platform development, pitch books and presentations. Clients included Sanofi-Aventis and Bristol-Myers Squibb. formerly Information Architect and Digital Content Developer for clients such as Reebok, Clear Channel, Maserati, and José Cuervo. From October 2002 to December 2005 (3 years 3 months) Intern Project Architect/Designer @ Intern Project Architect for a design studio specializing in large scale property development.
