💼 Past Experience

Scott Smalling started his career working for Simmons Bedding Company in 1987. There, he worked on various projects, including developing the company’s Sleep products. After several years with Simmons Bedding Company, Smalling moved on to develop and lead the development of Relief Bed International. Relief Bed International was founded in 2000 and produces full-time beds for hotels and other commercial ventures. In 2003, Smalling became CEO of Comfor Products, a company that produces bedding technologies. After three years as CEO at Comfor Products, he moved on to lead the development of Simmons Bedding Company’s Specialty division. In 2011, Smalling was named President of the Specialty Division at Simmons Bedding Company. He left Simmons Bedding Company in 2014 to become Executive Vice President Global Sales & Marketing at IOBED. Smalling’s current role at IOBED oversees all sales and marketing efforts for IOBED products, including the development and marketing of new sleep technologies. In 2018, Scott Smalling was awarded the Job of the Year award by The Sleep Company.
