As a Talent Acquisition Manager at Genius Plaza, Scott has had experience with the recruitment of both personnel and customer service representatives. He has also managed projects in the staffing and recruiting fields.Prior to coming to Genius Plaza, Scott was Corporate Recruiter at Autotask Corporation. There, he managed a team of ~30 employees. He was responsible for conducting face-to-face interviews with employees and conducting online pretesting with potential employees.Scott also has experience with the Recruiting Field at Center for Internet Security. Here, he assisted with the recruitment of software engineers and other technical personnel.In his previous work, Scott has polarized Himself into two camps: those who believe that online communication is an essential component of success in human resources and those who don't believe it has any real impact. He believes that face-to-face interviews are the only time an organization can truly assess someone's skills, and that they should be the centerpiece of any recruitment process.In his opinion, the reliance on online communication is necessary to maintain a competitive edge in the workplace and to keep employees from impersonating theiremployers. Scott also believes that online communication is more efficient and 1971 than face-to-face meetings.
