Non-union facility, with 40% oforder mix having due dates of 3 days or less. 12 converting machines,including 6, flexo -folder-gluers, and 3 Rotary die-cutters. Maintainedsales while reducing hourly count to 92 employees. ImplementedPreventative Maintenance program to reduce machine downtime, creating cellularspare parts areas to also improve reaction time and reduce wasted travel ofmaintenance. Implemented 5S through facility to help sustain future operational initiatives. From 2003 to 2005 (2 years) Plant Manager @ Unicorr Packaging Group Through my 11 years with this company, I was their Plant superintendant, Operations manager of their Vermont facilities, Corporate Engineer, with responsibility over 8 plants, with acquisition and consolidation responsibilities, and Plant manager of their Massachusetts corrugated facility.
