Sarah Colombostory:I started my teaching career in the early 1990s in a small town in upstate New York. When I retired in May 2017, I had taught in seventeen different states and Washington, D.C. The 38 years of teaching that I’ve done have given me a wealth of experience and contacts that have made me a valuable asset to many organizations. I have also been married to my husband and father of our three children for 31 years.My teaching career began in the early 1990s in a small town in upstate New York. I have also been married to my husband and father of our three children for 31 years. My expertise in mathematics provides a natural fit for teaching in a primary school setting. My teaching interests included but are not limited to instrumental music, science, athletics, and math.My teaching experience has taught me two things. First, I have learned that it is important to take care of my own personal needs first and foremost before I become concerned about the needs of my students. Second, I have learned that it is important to be professional andLeaks me time and energy into performing my duties to the best of my ability.My work experience has taught me a great deal about thetuition reimbursement program. I have experience working with different types of reimbursement programs, including those for Local, State, and National governments. I have also learned that the reimbursement program can be very complex and that it is important to have a good understanding of the program before I start working.

Sarah Colombo was a teacherlicensed secondary mathematics and secondary education teacher at Western New Mexico University from 2015 to 2017. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from University of Washington from 2011 to 2015.

In the past, Sarah has been an accountant and financial advisor, a math teacher, and now a recruiter. She has experience in accounting and finance, teaching in a high school in Shiprock, New Mexico, and in Seattle, Washington. In all of these positions, she gravitated towards the field of teaching and has found that she has a specialty in mathematics that helps her connect with'). She is excited to be the new recruiter for Teach For America in the Seattle area, and is looking forward to developing a deep, personal connection with current and potential participants.
