Sami Siddique is the Founder and CEO of Synaptop, an innovative virtual operating system and collaboration platform for the cloud. Siddique oversees the overall direction of Synaptop. He is responsible for strategic planning and execution of multiple aspects of the Synaptop platform and leads the company's innovation and development. In April 2015 Sami appeared on the popular TV show Dragons' Den, starting a bidding war and securing investment for Synaptop Theatre. Siddique is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for innovation. In addition to Synaptop, he founded Code Medical, Shop N Chill, Size Me Up, among other companies. His professional experience includes pioneering research on cancer treatment conducted at the Princess Margaret Hospital, including development of state-of-the-art applications for image guided surgical and radiotherapeutic interventions. He is a PhD student at the University of Toronto.
