Samarth Shekhar's Biography:Born in India in 1984, Samarth Shekhar is a self-taught electrical engineer who started his work experience when he was only 17 years old. He has worked in various engineering roles, starting with development of low-costunctional semiconductor products. He has also worked on various ventures, including six-time winner of the Fi $tal Awards for the best startup in the financial technology (fintech) industry, FinTech Forum. He started his career at Deutsche Software AG, where he worked for four years, most notably as an account manager for the German banking sector. He also worked at OrbiTech, a Citigroup spin-off, for two years. From there, he transferred to Wipro Technologies Ltd., where he was responsible for developing the company's systems software. He was also an representative of the European Banking Consortium for six months in 1997. In that capacity, he prepared and interpreted business rules for a consortium of European banks, representing the interests of the banks in a dispute with the Bundesbank over banking regulations. At the same time, he also worked on developing low-costunctional semiconductor products. In April 2008, Shekhar left Wipro Technologies Ltd. to start his own company, Samarth Shekhar Consultants Pvt. Ltd. Together with his two colleagues, they started Samarth Shekhar Consultants Pvt. Ltd. with a view to provide consulting services to financial technology startups. Samarth Shekhar Consultants Pvt. Ltd. has hosted various floors of the FinTechCity Hyderabad office since December 2018.

🎓 Education

Samarth Shekhar has had a illustrious education, highlighted by his study at Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where he attained a degree in business. Subsequently, he studied at Birla Institute of Technology, where he achieved a degree in engineering. Enrolled at the Red Cross Academy in Delhi, Samarth Shekhar continued his education and completed his studies at the Don Bosco Academy in Patna, where he obtained a degree in psychology.
