As part of this project, we developed two-way access control mechanisms for creating a social network of devices with fine-grained access control. On top of the architecture, different services were proposed for collaboration among users and optimizing resource utilization such as battery, etc. We developed a prototype to demonstrate the features of the proposed multi-device collaboration architecture. We proposed different network architectures for different scenarios and developed an optimal gateway load-balancing mechanism for wireless mesh networks to maximize the quality of service with minimal overhead. I was responsible for developing a new feature for the camera suite, and developing a nightly build automation system for the team's internal use.
