Rylie Teeter was born on January 10th, 1970 in the town of Appleton, Wisconsin. After studying business and marketing at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Rylie started her own company in 1995, Inversion International. Inversion was a fitness companies, focusing on products for an active lifestyle. In 2000, the company was acquired by Inversion Holdings, a business conglomeration with holdings in banking, health care, energy, and other industries.Through her entire tenure with Inversion, Rylie was responsible for building and leading the global organization. During her time as CEO, shesaw the company grow to become one of the leading fitness companies in the world. She led Inversion through several successful investments, including the acquisition of company rival Barbell Corporation in 2006. She remains an important board member and CEO of Inversion.Since leaving Inversion, Rylie has enjoyed a number of successes. In 2010, she founded her own company, Rylie Teeter Fit, which focuses on selling fitness equipment online. Additionally, she has made donations to a number of charities, including the ALS Association and the Hurricane Harvey Relief.
