Born and raised in the Sioux City, Iowa area, Ryan has five years of experience working in the software industry. From 2008-2012, he was the Recruiting Leader for TS2, responsible for finding and wisely hiring technical engineers for their Des Moines, Iowa-based company. From 2013-2015, he was Account Manager at Tek Systems, developing and lead launching new product lines and growing sales teams. From 2006-2009, he was founder and CEO of Jones Group Consulting, which develops and leads software-agnostic risk management programs. Ryan also has experience working as a Senior Manager in Sales at Specialty Consultants, developing and leading sales efforts for clients in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota-area. From 2021-2004, he was the Technical Recruiter at Lessen, responsible for finding and promoting technical engineers to technical jobs at companies all over the United States.

Ryan's education has spanned a few different spheres, but his education at Penn State University has most notably given Ryan the tools he needs to pursue a career in business. Ryan studied Business Administration, specifically in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. From this experience, Ryan became well-equipped to develop and implement new business ideas. Furthermore, Ryan's experience as a student at North Catholic High School gave him the unique opportunity to develop leadership skills. This experience taught Ryan the importance of networking and working collaboratively with others. Ultimately, these experiences have equipped Ryan to pursue a career in business and provide him with the skills to do so.

Prior to joining Zume Inc., Ryan was a recruiter with Jones Group Consulting where he was responsible for finding new software and engineering talent for a number of different companies. At Jones Group, Ryan also developed and led recruitment teams for a number of technical jobs at companies such as Tek Systems, Amazon and Directv. Ryan has also been a youth representative for many years and has presented and Sold products from Zume Inc.During his time at Jones Group Consulting, Ryan was also the founder, Recruiting Director, and Program Director for Jones Score LLC. Jones Score LLC is a software development consultancy that specializes in developing and maintaining software scorecards used in the recruiting process. Jones Score is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.Prior to Jones Group Consulting, Ryan was a senior manager at Flawless Recruit where he was responsible for finding new software and engineering talent for a number of different companies. At Flawless Recruit, Ryan also developed and led recruitment teams for a number of technical jobs, as well as youth representation.
