In his current position as Senior Scientist and Department Head at LBNL, Ryan Wiser is responsible for a broad range of research and technical initiatives at the Laboratory. He is currently primarily responsible for developing and testing new energy technologies and systems, as well as contributing to Argonne National Laboratory's Laboratory program. In this role, Wiser is also responsible for leading the scientific community in discussions and deliberations relevant to the development and testing of new energy technologies and systems, as well as ensuring that Lab's technology recommendations are universally accepted.Prior to his current role at LBNL, he was a Senior Scientist at Office of Policy and worked on a number of major energy policy issues.
