💼 Past Experience

In charge of Product design, the Sr. Engineer at AppleRui He has been working with the design and manufacturing of products like laptops, hard drives and other electronics- for Apple and other companies. In their previous roles various duties have included: leading a research team that produced four modules for mass production, evaluating the performance of automation tools, and teaching undergraduate students. They have also worked on an internship at WD, where they designed and conducted engineering experiments regarding the vibrational and acoustic performance of a human lower limb.When it comes to focusing on their work, especially in the field of acoustic science, Rui He focuses on understanding the process of creating an acoustic environment for devices and circuits, and then designing circuits and devices that can take advantage of that environment. Additionally, they are also interested in studying how noise can be manipulated to improve the performance of machines, and in conducting basic research in the field of shock coil audiometry and limit frame analysis.

Rui He is a PhD Candidate, Mechanical Engineering at University of Kentucky from 2012 to 2015. When he was at University of Kentucky, Rui He was a theorist and creator of the IIT-led six Sigma program for managing lean enterprise improvement program. While at University of Kentucky, he also taught undergraduate engineering students about lean management. Prior to his time at University of Kentucky, Rui He was a Masters graduate student at University of Kentucky, where he was a Mechanical Engineering instructor. In 2015, he joined San Jose State University as an adjunct professor of Industrial and System Engineering. His current focus within San Jose State University is teaching undergraduate students how to implement Lean Management and how to use Six Sigma audits to improve their organization.
