Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ross Deordiy holds a BSc from the University of Buenos Aires in 1992, a Master’s degree from King’s College London in 1995 and a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) from the City University London in 1999. After completing his studies,Deordiy worked for The London School of Economics and Political Science from 1990 to 1995, where he achieved a First Class Honours degree in Politics and Policy.sequently, he moved to the United States, and worked for Merrill Lynch from 1995 to 1999. During his four-year stay in the US, Deordiy met and worked with many of the leading figures and firms in the US technology and business development industries, including Evercore ISI, WendyLD, and ICahn. In his time at Merrill, Deordiy also gained experience in a wide range of finance and business development industries, including public companies, private companies, and venture capitalists. Deordiy returned to the UK in 2003, and worked at the London School of Economics, where he gained further experience in public and private companies, as well as venture capitalists. Deordiy then joined the Strategy Group, a business development consultancy, inota in October 2003. In this role, he worked on a wide range of projects, including business development for new start-ups, Private Equity, and Venture Capital. In this time, Deordiy also met and worked with many of the leading figures in the business development and technology communities, including Sir Hervé Lelièvre, Lord Harvey, Jonny Ramden, and Alan Turing. In March 2006, Deordiy moved to Argentina, and started work as a financial analyst at the Argentine insurance company “The Republic”. From here, he moved onto the role of Regional Sales Engineer at Hitachi Vantara in December 2017. Deordiy is also a Quadrilingual speaker (Spanish, English, Arabic and French).
