Consulting Analyst Developer @ Currently working as Java / UI Javascript Developer From September 2015 to Present (4 months) London, United KingdomData Modeller / Analyst @ I have just started working on a fresh new Data Warehouse Project within HSBC- practising Kimball's Fact and Dimension design methodology. Continued exposure to data modelling, analysis and general design principles within a data-driven team. I am building up both my Oracle and analytical skills in this rotation. From March 2015 to Present (10 months) Java / Oracle Developer in HSBC HSS (HSBC Security Services - Custody) @ Created a website-based data visualisation network tool (prototype) using d3 to map all the systems within the Securities world. The tool has a java back-end with maven. This powerful tool updates dynamically and was presented to Global heads of HSS with high praise. Predominately working with Oracle and Java, I helped support our Custody Data Warehouse System - that is at the epicentre of HSBC Custody Universe. During my rotation here, I chiefly looked after the Java based unit testing for all our Oracle code changes. Support in the sense of adding new possible tests to check Oracle behaviour (such creating generic Oracle Function and Stored Procedure interfaces to allow users to enter SQL and validate the output. Exposed to Stored Procedures, Functions and datastage for Oracle From September 2014 to March 2015 (7 months) London, United KingdomDeveloper in Research IT @ Working as a C#' and Java Developer for the development and release of a new Authoring platform in HSBC Research. Predominately working on UI functionality and XML / XSL-FO translation of documents to PDF renditions amongst other formats. Through this role, I have also been exposed to the Agile Methodology - which I use on a daily basis for daily-scrums, as well as monthly spring planning sessions. I am also becoming a lot more familiar with Lambda expressions and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 From March 2014 to September 2014 (7 months) Analyst - Fixed Income Trade Derivatives Processing @ The DTP (Derivatives Trade Processing) team within Fixed Income IT is responsible for the post trade processing for a number of asset classes (e.g. FXO, CRD, EQD) in the major hubs (London, New York, Hong Kong) and a large number of satellite sites (e.g. Mexico, Taiwan, Dubai) as well the related regulatory reporting functions. I was exposed to / been using the following technologies: Java / Java Spring / SQL From August 2013 to February 2014 (7 months) Asset Management Summer Intern - Technology @ Working with the Asset Management Team to use Sharepoint to improve internal processes.
