As a Talent Acquisition Manager at Razorfish, I managed an Angels-funded antipattern program which sourced and placed talent across multiple creative disciplines in the San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, Austin, Chicago, and Atlanta areas. I was responsible for hiring full time and contract positions such as: Creative Directors, Art Directors, Emerging Experience, Copywriters, Designers, Producers, Motion Designers, UX Designers, Video, Social Media, Editors, Content Strategists, and Resource Managers. The antipattern program yielded results in terms of increased talent acquisitions and development, increased client satisfaction, and increased business rates.I have worked in a number of industries and I have encountered different challenges during my various career experiences. One challenge I faced while working as a Director of Talent Acquisition at WE Communications was managing a team of talented professionals. At our company, we have a strong culture ofcommunications innovation and creativity. In order to stay ahead of the curve, we needed to keep our team fresh by periodically adding new talent.Another challenge that I faced as a Director of Creative Services and Recruiting at Deutsch LA was managing an unruly and dysfunctional team. The team at DeutschLA was not very strategic and they were often not following through with their promises. As a result, I was often forced to change my strategies and tactics multiple times in order to satisfy the client’s needs.Another challenge I faced while working as a SVP, Director of Creative Services and Recruiting at Ogilvy LA was managing a team of talented professionals who were not always following through with their promises. The team at Ogilvy LA was unprofessional and they often made unwise decisions. I needed to make changes to my office strategy to deal with the team’s unreasonable behavior.One of the most challenging experiences that I have faced during my career is my time at FCB SF. At FCB SF, I was responsible for managing a team of talented professionals who were often not following through with their promises. I needed to make changes to my office strategy to deal with the team’s unreasonable behavior.Lastly, I have worked as a Creative Services Manager at Merkley + Partners NY. At Merkley + Partners NY, I managed an antipattern program which sourced and placed talent across multiple creative disciplines. The antipattern program yielded results in terms of increased talent acquisitions and development, increased client satisfaction, and increased business rates.Overall, my career experiences have taught me a number of valuable lessons. One lesson is that you need to be constantly changing your strategies in order to continue satisfying the client’s needs. Another lesson is that you need to have a unruly and dysfunctional team in order to achieve success. Lastly, I have learned that you need to be constantly innovative in order to stay ahead of the curve.
