Since 2007, Ron Tessendorf has been working as a technology consultant and programming teacher, primarily at Elgin Community College in Illinois. He has since been moved to work as a technology consultant, where he helps achieve teaching and technology goals. Ron has also taught many students himself in both teaching on-campus and online courses.Ron is dedicated to his teaching career and loves working with students. He feels that the students he helps are his biggest challenge, as they are always trying to learn and grow. He believes that it is important for teachers to provide opportunities for their students to interact with them and learn from them.

Tessendorf has over 10 years of experience in the transportation industry, starting with Direct Communication from 2003 to 2004 where he was the Director of Sales and Operations. Tessendorf then worked at Summit Expedited Logistics for 4 years and then moved to their more established rivals, Traffic Tech, for 3 years. Tessendorf then moved to Echo Global Logistics for 4 years as their Manager of Sales, and then in August 2011 he was appointed Vice President of Sales at Traffic Tech. Aftervd, Tessendorf moved to CareerBuilder.com to become an Account Executive. Tessendorf then took a leave of absence from CareerBuilder.com in order to start their own business, Marcus Evans, in which he served as the risk management analyst II. Finally, Tessendorf took a year off to pursue a masters degree in business at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Tessendorf's interpersonal skills were also tested in their previous role at Bank One Card Services where he was the Director of Truckload Brokerage Services.
