💼 Past Experience

Two years ago, Ron Tavernini left his job as an Engineering Tech at SMS to become a Sr. RF Engineering Tech at Monterey, CA's SMS Technologies. At SMS Technologies, Ron has worked on a variety of engineering projects, including developing an ASIC for an industrial company, co-creating apatTERNnaissance algorithms, and leading the development of the SJCv2 ASIC design effort. His most recent assignment at SMS Technologies was leading the design and development of a new ASIC for the GTM900 MI-Compacted flash memory products. This project was wrought with many long hours and difficult challenges, and Ron has acquitted himself very well in the role.Ron has a background in electrical and electronic manufacturing, having worked as an Engineer Tech at Conexant Systems and as a Lab Manager at Littlefeet. He holds a degree in Electronics from the University of Southern California and a certification in RF technology from the EIA/RTCM Challenge.
