This project was to develop a cardiology intervention program for patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Overall, Rollin MS was able to learn a lot about CHF and how to best care for it. Rollin MS has also had experience working with policy and management. In the area of policy, Rollin MS has worked with Innate Homeostasis and Regenerative Medicine Institute at Georgetown University. In this role, Rollin MS was able to work on various medical projects. One project that Rollin MS was involved in was a cardiac transplant program. This project was funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This project was to develop a program that would allow for the transplant of human hearts from deceased donors. Overall, Rollin MS was able to learn a lot about heart transplantation and how to best care for patients with heart transplantation.Lastly, Rollin MS has had experience working with the management of hospitals. Overall, Rollin MS has had a lot of experience working with hospitals. In her role as Vice President, Quality and Safety at MedStar Health, Rollin MS was able to work on a variety of projects. One project that Rollin MS was involved in was a program that was intended to improve the safety of patients during surgery. This project was called, “Technology-Defined Safety and Surgical caregivers in frail health.” Overall, Rollin MS was able to learn a lot about how to improve the safety of surgical patients and how to best care for them.
