Rod Barreda started his professional journey in the restaurant industry in 1996 as a Casino Manager and Casino General Manager with the company M Partners. He then moved on to become the Operations Director at Rome’s Palace Casino and then management consultant at Caesar’s Palace Casino in Las Vegas. In 2003, he was appointed the Manager of operations for the reopened Wingstop Restaurants in Anaheim, CA.Since his appointment as Director of Operations at Wingstop Restaurants Inc. in December of 2009, Rod has overseen a successful transition of the chain’s business and operations including: growth in menu variety, increased operating efficiency, and increased guestloom experience. Additionally, Rod has worked to engage with its franchising partners to grow the chain even further, and develop new concepts and attractions for the company’s guests.Most recently, Rod has served as Area Director at Reef Diner, a brand new restaurant development located in Atlantic City, NJ. Reef Diner is billed as the first of its kind in the United States, and is designed to extend the wings and pizza experience of Wingstop Restaurants to a more-entertainment-focused dining experience. The restaurant is already generating buzz among guests and provides an opportunity to expand thecpany’s hospitality brand even further.“I have over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry, and throughout that time I have learned two important things.
