About Robert Preti

💼 Past Experience

Robert Preti’s CNRS exp-editions:CNRS is the French National Science Foundation and one of the number 2 agencies in the world. CNRS is part of the French Research Agency (INRA) and submits proposals to the French Minister of Science and Technology. CNRS lets companies Submission of Proposals for Research (PFR) and Receiving Design up to 1000euro for addressing any scientific interest in the field of life sciences and health with the aim to open up new research lines. The Proposals can be divided into three categories: proposal, model, and technology. The proposal can be in the form of a research paper, an article, a memorandum, or even a white paper. The model category is the ones that deal with the implementation of a product or technology. In this category, the Proposal can be in the form of a development plan, a business model, or even a feasibility study. The technology category is where the Proposals deal with areas like gene therapy, regenerative medicine, medical imaging, and more. This category can include proposals that deal with both new and existing technologies. Designs can be in the form of a prototype, a model, or even a full product. The main reason why Proposals are accepted by CNRS is because they have the potential to address scientific interests. The France’s experimental government gives a lot of financial resources to CNRS and they are in charge of approving, funding, and monitoring the projects. The French Research Authority also allows companies to get money back, which is an advantage because it brings more companies to the platform. There are three main ways that Proposals can be rejected: by the competitor, by the scientist, or by the CNRS itself. The scientist in charge of the project is usually the one who rejects the Proposal. However, in some cases, the CNRS may also reject the Proposal themselves. Usually, the scientist who rejected the Proposal is not the one who actually submitted the Proposal to CNRS.The CNRS has always been a collaborative agency and has found it difficult to get Proposals from individual companies. However, over the years, CNRS has been able to get more and more Proposals from individual companies. In 2017, for example, CNRS accepted 7 Proposals from individual companies. The reason why this is happening is because CNRS is allowing companies more time to submit their proposals and they are also allowing companies to get more feedback. The overall goal of CNRS is to help researchers address scientific interests and To open up new research lines. In order to achieve this, CNRS requires Proposals to be well written, cogent, relevant to the field of life sciences and health, and able to meet the quality standards set by CNRS.Robert Preti’s professional experience:Chairman at Alliance for Regenerative Medicine from January 2015 to June 2016 (1 year 6 months) in Washington D.C.
