Prior to assuming his new role at Loftware, Mr. O’Connor served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Softrax Corporation, an enterprise software company that he led from inception to acquisition. Under his leadership, Softrax became the leading provider of billing and revenue management applications to hundreds of high technology companies throughout the world. A graduate of Georgetown University who also received a MBA from the University of Connecticut, he has been widely recognized for his achievements and contributions, including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist Award. With over 20 years of experience in executive management of software companies, he has proven expertise in finance, sales and marketing. Prior to Softrax, O’Connor was CEO of RBS Group, Inc., a software and services company that grew to become IBM’s largest business partner in New England. Before RBS Group Inc., O’Connor held senior financial positions at technology companies, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. O’Connor was recognized by Ernst &Young as a finalist for their 2001 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
