Robert Hendricks has served with McKesson since April 2004 in various roles from General Manager of Managed Services to CTO and CIO of the technology division. He has served in the Healthcare sector for over 25 years and is a lifelong technologist. In 2015, he was recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as Who's Who in Technology in Georgia.
In the nonprofit sector, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Technology Association of Georgia since 2006, and served as board chair in 2010. He has served on the Alpharetta Technology Commission as the chairman since its inception in 2012. He has served as a board member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber since 2012, and chairs the Bio-Sciences and Health IT Committee. He also serves on the Board of Health IT that is responsible for the annual Health IT Summit in Atlanta.
Mr. Hendricks is a Georgia native who was born in Buena Vista Georgia on a rural farm. Throughout his career in technology and healthcare, he has focused on giving time back to the state. He has been recognized numerous times for spending time in the community focused on growing the presence of technology in education through STEM efforts, growing the awareness of Georgia as a leader in Technology across the US, and helping our state legislators establish strategies to grow technology sector jobs in Georgia.
