Created, organised and promoted a programme of leisure and corporate experience packages to a largely consumer market which included sporting events, heritage breaks, consumer exhibitions, special interests and concerts. Established successful commercial partnerships in order to deliver key marketing initiatives alongside traditional retail, database, digital and print media. From April 2006 to July 2009 (3 years 4 months) Area Director of Sales @ Managed the area field sales team and hotel sales activity for 11-14 hotels which included corporate and agency accounts with total hotel turnover in excess of £70M. Diverse account base managed with local, national and international focus on behalf of Hilton Sales Worldwide. Worked with the hotel teams and the wider sales network to drive revenue growth, develop corporate relationships and long term loyalty to Hilton. Accountable for brand presentation, rate negotiation and customer services. From April 2004 to April 2006 (2 years 1 month) Area Revenue Manager @ I filled a number of roles in Revenue Management culminating in a project to develop a revenue cluster to service 5 hotels fully for reservations, groups, conference & banqueting sales and yield management. We were responsible for over 700 bedrooms and 60 meeting rooms. This was the first fully centralised project for Hilton and led the way in standards and systems.
