Richard Shurtz has been president and CEO of Stratford University since January of this year. As President and CEO, Shurtz oversees Stratford University's day to day operations and is responsible for leading the university's strategy and making decisions that impact the institution's mission and goals. Prior to this role, Shurtz was co-host of the Tech Talk Radio show Vice President at BDM Corporation. For example, Shurtz has made it a policy to invest in cleantech partnerships, and he has also created a cleantech fund in order to support the development of cleantech products and programs at the university. Additionally, Shurtz opposes the use of tuition waivers in order to support the cleantech movement.
