📖 Summary

After graduating with my Bachelor's degree from Pace University's Pleasantville campus, I spent the two years following graduation as an audit associate for Grant Thornton, in their Edison, NJ office. While working for Grant Thornton, I was able to work on many different types of audit engagements including audits for some of Grant’s manufacturing, retail, and pharmaceutical audit clients. In addition to working on fiscal year-end audit engagements, I also worked on several defined benefit plan audits and was also able to lead engagements from start to finish as well. Currently, I work as a Staff Internal Auditor in the Annuities and Retirement group of the Prudential Internal Audit Department in Newark, NJ. During the 2014 calendar year, I performed risk assessment procedures and detailed testing on key controls during various audits while also strengthening diverse and business unit specific operating processes and procedures as well. While at Prudential, I passed all four parts of the CPA exam and am now a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
