From 2009 to 2014, Reese was a research associate in the Mechanical Engineering program at USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Reese's research focuses on the development of gripper automation algorithms for robots, as well as on the design of MEMS Actuators for sustainable control of robots.Reese Mozer has authored two papers on gripper automation algorithms and two papers on MEMS Actuators. Reese is also a 2017 Best Paper Awardist in the International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), and a 2016 winner of the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Robotics and Automation conference. Reese is a member of the IEEE Robot Society, the Conference on Robotics and Automation, and the American Robotics Society.
